Descriptionconsits of 59 gambling stickks in skin bag. skin bag, consists of a rectangualr piece of tanned skin folded over at one end and a small rectangualr piece of skin sewn with commercial string in a running stitch between edges of ffold at each side to form a pouch for holding gambling sticks. upper corners of pouch are stiff and wrinkled. other end of skin forms a flap for wrapping around pouch. a skin thong for wrapping around closed pouch is received through hole pierced in centre of rounded end of fflap and knotted. a flat rectangular piece of ivory coloured polished bone(?) (3.6cmx1.3cm) tapers to a rounded point which is perforated and loose end of skin thong is reeved through perforation and knotted. the number "60" is marked on one surfacce of piece of bone and "934?" is marked on reverse surface. the number "934" is marked in black on interior surface of flap in one corner and the number "60" is also marked on interior surface of flap at ccentre. residue of bark? fibres inside pouch.gambling sticks- each is made from a clindrical piece of natural hard wood and decorated with rend and or black rings and or bands which circumscribe shaft. three are decorated. six have three red rings 1cm and 1.1cm apart around centre. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.2cm apart around centre with central ring only partially circumscribing shaft. four have three black rings 1.1cm and 1cm apart around centre. one has three black rings 1.1cm and 1cm apart around centre with central ring only partially circumscribing shaft and a longitudinal row of incised dots between outer rings. one has three black rings 1.1cm and 1cm apart around centre and a red band (0.4cm wide) 1.5cm from one end of shaft. one has three black rings 1.1cm and 1cm apart around centre flanked by oblique black and red bands on one side, and same end of shaft is paointed red. one has three black rings 1.1cm and 1cm apart around centre flanked on one side by two red bands (0.2cm wide) flanking a black band (0.2cm wide) 0.4cm apart. one has three black rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centre crossed by two parallel oblique red bands. one has three red rings 1.2cm apart around centre,a red ring 1.4cm from one end of shaft, and a black oblique band around same end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centrre crossed by a black oblique band, and a black ring 1.5cm from one end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centre and a black band (0.2cm wide) 1.5cem from one end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.1cm apart around centre flanked by a red band (0.2cm wide) on one side 3.1cm from one end of shaft and same end of shaft is painted red. shaft also has longitudinal rrow of incised ddots from end to end. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centre crossed by a cross motif formed by two black oblique bands. one has three red rings 1.1cm apart around centre and a red band (1.5cm wide) around one end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centre, and a red badn (0.2cm wide) 1.7cm from one end of shaft and 2.6cm from opposite end. one has three red rings 0.9cm and 1cm apart around centre and a red band (0.2cm wide) 2.1cm from one end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.0cm apart around centre with a red band (1.0cm wide) between each ring. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.2cm apartt around centre flanked on one side by three bands of red (0.1cm wide) 1.4cm and 1.5cm apart with a row of incised dots circumscribing shaft between each band. one has three red rings 0.9cm and 1.1cm apart around centre flanked on one side by a diamon motif formed by burning wood to leave two unburned diamon patters circumscribing shaft. other end of shaft has been slightly darkened. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.2cm apart around centre flanked on one side by two black bands (0.2cm wide) 4.1cm and 3.6cm from end of shaft. one has three red rings 1.2cm apart around centre flanked on one side by a red band (0.1cm wide) 4.1cm from end of shaft and same end of shaft is painted red. shaft also has longitudinal row of incised dots form end to end. one has three red rings 1.1cm and 1.2cm apart around centre, three black rings 0.2cm apart 2cm from one end of shaaft and a red band 1.5cm wide at same end of shaft. two have three red rings 1.1cm apart around centre flanked on each side by two red bands (0.1cm wide) 0.4cm apart. one has three red rings 0.8cm and 0.9cm apart around centre with a red band (0.2cm wide) between each ring and flanking each outeer ring one has a red ring 3.2cm from one end of shaft and red band (0.9cm wide) 1.2cm from same end of shaft. one has red band (1.1cm wide) 4.1cm from one end of shaft. one has a red band (3.3cm wide) around ccentre. one has a red band (2.5cm wide) around centre and a balck ring 1.9cm from one end of shaft. one has a red ring around centre, a black ring 3.7cm from one end of shaft and a black band (1.9cm wide) around same end of shaft. one has a red ring around centre, a black ring 3.3cm from one end of shaft and a black band (1.7cm wide) around same end of shaft. one has a red ring around centjre, a red ring 3.1cm from one end of shaft and a black band (1.4cm wide) around same end of shaft. one has a black band (0.2cm wide) 4.7cm from one end of shaft and ends of shaft has been slightly darkened by burning? one has a black band (0.2cm wide) 4.8cm from one end of shaft flanked on each side by an oblique red band. one has a black band (3.3cm wide) around centre. one has two black rings 2.6cm apart around centre with a red band 90.9cm wide) between and a black band (0.2cm wide) 4.3cm from one end of shaft. one has two red rings 2.5cm apart around centre with oblique black and red bands between. one has two red rings 2.5cm apart around centre with a black band (0.8cm wide) between (band appears to have been painted over a red ring). one has two red rings 2.4cm apart around centre, and three black rings 0.3cm apart, 1.4cm from one end of shaft. same end has two dots of black paint. one has three red rings 2.9cm and 2.6cm apart around centre flanked by red band (1.7cm wide) at one end of shaft. one has two red bands (0.2cm wide) 2.4cm apart around centre. one has three red bands (0.2cm wide) 2.8cm and 2.9cm apart around centre. one has three black bands (0.1cm wide) 2.7cm and 2.9cm apart around centre flanked on one side by three red rings 0.2cm apart. one has a black band (0.2cm wide) 4cm from one end of shaft. one has five rings 0.3cm apart 4.1cm from one end of shaft.
