Descriptionfigure, made from copper to represent a human figure and used as a charm according to Newcombe. figgure made form a single flat sheet of copper cut in the shape of a human with roughly ovoid shaped head which constricts at neck. eyes at centre of head are formed by two circular perforations and mouth is a roughly rectangular indentation in one surface with a small perforation at each end of mouth and a slight convexity on reverse surface. figure has sloping shoulders and tapering arms which rest at sides of body slightly extended with hands in the form of a rectangle. body flares from beneath arms then taprs at legs with rectuangular feet turned outward. space between legs in shape of truncated triangle. rectangular bands of copper have been placed around each arm (6 on one arm and 8 on other arm) and the ends of each band flattened together or slightly overlapping. figure has a balck coating on both surfaces. the number "275" is marked in pencil on centre of body on one surface.collected in Masset
