Descriptionspruce root, long strap, for berries. low circular basket with straight sides. cross hatching design woven in a 1.5" wide band just below rim, in same natural coloured root. long plaited strap suspends basket at end of 15" long loop. strap tied into small loop on side of basket. see similar basket VII-B-567/HRC 00567.the skip stitch patter on the basket is called Spider Web, its enclosed in 2 three strand twining, has a 3 strand finish (hard to tell by pixelated photo).
