Descriptionhalibut hook, of yew cut from a knot, steamed and bent shaped as rounded v. end of longer, thicker arm is bevelled to hold po;int of square iron nail. nail lashed to arm with spruce root lashsing. end of this arm is notched. root lashing holds 4 ply lead of twisted root to other arm. narrow string wound around lead.
