DescriptionBlack and white photograph of the Cumshewa Gold Mine. Owned by the Stevens brothers of Skidegate. Discovered in 1907, development started in 1910. Mine operated until about 1915, but at no time found any gold ore and less than a ton in silver was taken in three samples of better looking vein.
