The inside of the flap is painted with a formline Killer whale design in black and red paint. The outer border of the bag is fringed with the cut ends of the hide material.

Associated with the pouch are approximately 50 carved and turned gambling sticks (JB.64.3.2b) decorated with simple stripe designs in red and black encircling the shaft of each stick. A few of the sticks are unpainted. One stick is damaged by teeth marks, possibly from a dog chewing it.
