DescriptionOval shaped platter carved from argillite. Relief carving of an American Eagle, as depicted on 19th century coins, is depicted in centre. The eagle clutches arrows in one talon, and an olive branch in the other. The eagle's chest is a shield with horizontal lines incised in the upper portion and vertical lines in the lower portion. Letters spelling the name "Barnett" are carved in reverse around the rim of the platter on either side, along with the numerals "841" in one instance and "1" on the other side.
