DescriptionBlanket/robe woven from mountain goat wool and yellow cedar bark in Naaxiin or "chilkat" technique and style. The central motif is Diving Whale with Ravens on thes sides. Wool used has been dyed in black, brown, turquoise, and yellow, as well as being used in its undyed off-white natural colour. Sides and bottom have fringes of wool and cedar which are extensions of the warps and wefts. Warps are made from twisted yarns of yellow cedar bark and mountain goat wool and wefts from mountain goat wool.
