Descriptionbaton, for chief, carved from a single piece of wood, cylindrical decorated with a figure carved in relief at each end, figure at distal end wears a hat with 4 potlatch rings, centreral portion of stick is covered with incised motifs.
this was a duplicate number with a box and lid, Newcombe, 1898, GSC 3030, which has been renumbered to VII-B-1571 a,b. both VII-B-130 and VII-B-542 are marked in ink on this stick, but VII-B-542 is listed as an empty number in the Sapir register.
