Descriptionstick, for use with fishing line, carvved from a single piece of wood ( yew ) stained brownish black. stick is straight along one edge while other edge tapers abruptly 0.8cm from one end then sstraightens to end where it curves down forming a beak like appearance with a slightly curved deeply incised line (29.4cm long) delineating beak opening along both surfaces of stick. other end of stick tapers gradually from centre to pointed tip. a slightly concave lenticular eyelid has been incised in centre of both surfaces of stick around flat circular iris.On View
