Descriptionhalibut hook, v shaped of two pieces of wood bevelled at one end and joined in two places with lashing of root overlying cord (of gut or raw hide). lashings are in grooves. one arm has point of bone set in on side near the end, attached with cedar root lashing. other arm is slightly pointed at end. cord of rawhide overlaid with root passes through hole in this arm, end being attached to cord of root only.collected in Skidegate
