Descriptiona- spoon, carved of red cedar wood. oval bowl has narrow rim which ends at handle. handle tapers and curves away from shallow bowl, with flat upper surfface and convex lower. a flat rim runs around handle portion, widening slightly at hte end, which is pointed, forming a right angle. dark colour of bowl suggests use with grease.
b- spoon of mountain sheep horn which is boiled, then moulded and carved while soft. oval, shallow bowl narrows, curving up into handle. lower surface of handle remains convex while upper becomes less concavve toward its end, until flat. a round hole is in centre of handle. end of handle slightly squared. white collectors tag on handle near bowl.
c- spoon, of mountain sheep horn which was boiled, then moulded and carved while soft. shallow oval bowl tapers to handle which currves up, the eend curving away form thebowl handle tapers to a nearly square end. surffaces of handle approach flatness toward its end. colour of bowl is golden brown darkening slightly along handle.
d- spoon, of mountain sheep horn, boiled then moulded and carved while soft. oval, shallow bowl with tthin edges narrows into straight handle. lower surface remains convex but upper surfrace becomes less concave to the notch half way up handle then is flat. end is slightly squared. texture of the horn has created a rough spot on the handle, with a longitudinal splinter. golden brown colour darkens up handle. collectors' tag glued on upper surface of handle near bowl.
e- sppon, of mountain sheep horn which has been boiled, then carved and moulded while soft. deep oval bowl narrows and curves into tapering handle. handle u shaped in cross section, with flat end.
f- bowl of moutnain sheep horn which has been boiled, then carved and moulded. large oval bowl curves into handle which tapers and bends away from bowl lower surface remains convex; upper surface of handle becomes flat near upper end. cracking in handle has been slowed by a copper plate, held to the underside by 6 copper pegs, one of which no long holds the plate. handle end flat.
g- spoon, of mountain sheep horn which has been boiled, then carved and moulded while soft. shallow oval bowl curves into narrower handle which bends away from it, with a flat upper end. upper surfface is flat, lower is convex.
h- spoon, of moutnain sheep horn which has been boiled, then carvedd and moulded while soft. narrow, oval bowl curves into long handle. handle is concave on upper surfface, and end curves away from bowl spoon is dark from use, esp. bowl. three holes drilled in concave surface of bowl.
i- spoon, of moutnain sheep horn, crudely made. horn is boiled, then moulded and carved while soft. oval, shallow handle tapers and curves gently into the handle. handle, very thick, tapers to rough point. upper edges and flat, with concave space beetween. these edges and the underside, of the spoon retain chisel marks. underside of bowl has pencil markings and dried resin.
j- spoon, of horn, grey colour. oval bowl currves upward and tapers to form handle. handle tapers to point; is concave on upper surface until 2" from end, where it is notched and becomes slightly convex. lower surface continues convex. handle curves away from bowl roughly made, likely not of moutnain sheep horn, with unfinished lower surface.
