Descriptionfinely carved beaver. the beavers paws have human faces on the palm, the bottom feet have the same faces carved on them. the belly has a creature carved and painted in red. the tail is flipped up on bottom of belly with abalone going around. the beavers teeth are inlaid with abalone, the nose, the eyes and the ears as well. the main formline is all painted in red, with black on some parts (eyebrows and ears). going around the headdress is abalone cut in square shapes. the sealion whiskers are going around the whole headdress. it is fastened onto wool, on back part there is leather hanging down with ermines sewn onto that leather. down from a bird is going around the bottom part of the wool. flicker feathers are on the sides of the headdress.On View
