DescriptionSpruce root basket made with two and three strand weave. Top section of the basket is decorated with the "spider web" pattern. Four solid bands of black-dyed spruce roots are present but very faded throughout the body of the basket. Remnants of two cotton cord ties are found on the back and a cotton cord button closure on the front. The top rim and bottom are partially deteriorated.
