Descriptioncarved from a single piece of wood to represent a human face. mask is roughly elliptical in outline and back is slightly concave, unpainted, and bevelled on lateral edges. face has small slightly rounded forehead with thick slightly curved eyebrows carved in low relief and painted black. small area of balck paint above sinister eyebrow at outer edge of mask. oblique lenticular eyelids carved in low relief and painted black (?) at inner corners above bridge of nose and enclose elliptical irises carved in low relief, painted black and outlined by fine...
