Descriptiondish, of mountain goat horn which has been softened and moulded to a boat like shape. wide panel extends from each end, and has a straight edge. sides of end panel marked by incised line parallel to edge and series of perpendicular lines between edge and line. small round holes drilled in randomly. line parallel to end edge separates end panel from bowl. incised line continues around sides of bowl, which are convex on the outer edge. the space thus enclosed has 5 pairs of holes drilled in but not through it, then a panel of vertical lines, then another 5 pairs of holes. endds of panel containing holes scalloped. four holes have been drilled in bottom, centre, of dish, 3 of which pass throught teh bottom. for food.collectede in Skidegate.
