Descriptionbow of one piece of wood, flares at both sides of centre, narrows at ends. back side smoothed and slightly curved. inside has low ridge down middle. grooves at ends for string which is missing. small nail at one end. centre of bow wrapped with strips of wild cherry bark(?).
one of 2 arrows numbered 133. straight wood shaft with 4 notches in string end. metal head, narrow neck with flattened leaf shaped tip set into centre of wood shaft, 3 rows of root wrapping. ( no wrapping remaining when checked in 1995 inventory ).
long iron tip: not feathered, plain cedar shaft, slightly tapered at both ends. iron tip 6" long with slightly flared head set into shaft and held by root wrrapping. notch at end for bow string.
