Descriptionspoon of hard wood, bowl painted. straight handled spoon with slightly concave flaring bowl. carved of 1 piece of light wood. design of a fish, painted in red and black in bowl and extending 3" up handle. handle tapered near top to 3/4" cut off straight. ressembles sheep horn spoons in shape.records CES spoon VII-B-413 is attrb. by Bill Holm as having been painted by the same guy that painted BCPM spoon 37149. the artist in question is the guy who produced a number of pencil drawings (#16574-16596) and has been identified as Tom Price. C.F Newcombe who colleccted these drawings did= not record the name of the artist.
