Descriptiona- halibut hook and float. halibut hook, v shaped, of a piece of bent and smoothed wood. long bone point attached to one arm of hook with spruce roots. cedar bark rope attached to the other arm with cordans spruce roots. rope broken. brass wire and spruce roots wrapped around rope near bark.b- float carved as a seal from one piece of wood. part of cedar bark rope held in place, under the float by two iron nails.
