DescriptionBlack and white photograph of Sitka deer. They have been introduced at various times n the Islands. Archdeacon W.H. collinson is reported to have introduced 6-8 in 1876-77 but are reported to have found their way to the stewpot. Successful introductions were made in 1901, 1910, 1912, and 1925.
