DescriptionBlack and white photo of a group of men who survived the shipwrecked Kotohira-Maru. The boat was travelling form Kobe to San Fransisco and was wrecked July 13th,1917 near the Aleutian Islands. They were lost at sea for 40 days and finally reached Ikeda Bay in September. Captain of ship was Harukiko Shiluya. There were no casualities of this accident.
