DescriptionHaida formline design of the Skidegate Repatriation Butterfly. The idea of the butterfly was brought to the attention of the Skidegate Repatriation & Cultural Committee (SRCC) by Margaret Hewer. The butterfly represents the messenger of the departed souls. It is also said to be a symbol of the travelling spirits, those departed and misplaced that are wandering about. This design was done by the Late Brad Collinson and adopted by the SRCC as their logo.On View
