Descriptionof fine spruce root. top is a radial start, z twined. joint between top and crown is a single row of multiply z twist. crown is of z twined spruce root separated from brim by a single row of 3 or 4 ply z twining. brim is decored with conccentric diamon patter in twill twining. braided rim. headband inserted inside in coarse z twist twining. two ties of white wool material have been cut from headband. painted decoration on top consists of a red band around the perimeter - painted red and black. design on crown and brim consists of two profile bird design with wings, claws, tail. birds beaks are wide open and tongues visible. btween birds; heads is a human face.
