Descriptionsmall circular basket, high walls, of cedar bark(in the description at CMH, they say its cedar bark but it is actually spruce root). spiral construction, twined "close together work" technique (again describted by CMH, but it is called the flying geese pattern. braided rim. twilled chevrons in horizontal band beneath rim. its a small basket for gathering berries. has 4 bands of black dyed spruce root (bottom one is a bit tough to see but it is there).
