Descriptionsemicircular with centre seam, made of napped wool and cotton tabby, with three rows of appliqued inverted scallops in red broadcloth around the lower edgee. the two innner rows are edged with sealing wax red bead fringes terminating in puffin bills. the outer row originally had a fringe of blue glass bugles tterminating with puffin beaks. edges bound with red broadcloth. the sewing is done with cotton sewing thread. the finges are threaded on cotton string. the centre seam has been sewn with chain stitch sewing machine.
