Descriptionmarmots msk and bone call. marmots face, blue, black, beige, red paint. carvved wood face open mouth showing two top and bottom centre squared teeth. nostrils and mouth red. background of face bluish grey; black eyebrows and pupils. black outline also to protruding ears on upper portion of head. ears are carved along with major portion of mask solid wood. two beige triangula shapes painted as hair line meeting above the nose. the design is continued at the sides of the thick eyebrows. two rows of parallel spaced black markings outline each triangle. the chin is emphasized with the beige background. four rows of black parallel spaced lines outline the top portion and three rows the bottom. thick black line divides the chin design. red vertical short lines in centre of chin and on outer portion of face. blue paint worn from cheeks skin thong attached to top of head through two holes. sinew at two sides for attachment to head holds skin thong on one side and thong plus bone call on other. bone call hollowlong rounded bone tube, broken at one end hole 1/2" from end.
