Descriptionwood dish and cover. wood dish, rectangular, made of two pieces. one piece, kerfed, for sides, edges of first and fourth held together with wooden pegs. ends of dish slightly raised and bowed, sides concave. sides curved and painted. same design on opposite sides. red and black paint. thick bottom held in place with wooden pegs. rim broken on one side near corner. one nail apparent. cover and ccedar bark covers the sides top of dish. technique of diagonal twined weaving for sides and of diagonal or twilled weaving with flat ribbon like elements for top. broken on three sides near top.
