Descriptionhook, unfinished, for fishing. prior to steaming and bending process to shape hook, long narrow slightly curved piece of wood ( yew wood ) is carved to a lenticular shape in cross section. it tapers to a point at one end and is constricted 2.9cm from tapering blunt tip at other end. tiny hole is pierced through hook 5.7cm from blunt tip.
