Descriptionhalibut hook. v shaped, of two pieces of wood bevelled at one end and lashed with spruce roots. two large grooves for the lashings, one without any. one piece of wood bevelled also at the other end where bone p;oint tied with spruce roots. the other piece carved on the outside as a bird with wings and tail. beak broken. inside flat and partially concave. rope passing through a hole near the tail and knotted.
