Descriptionhalibut hook, nearly v shaped, of bent hemlock knot. point of iron seit in side of end of one arm, attached by cord (cotton or linen?) overlaid with root. end of this arm notched. more root lashing on this arm near bend. root lashing on other arm attaches 4ply lead of twisted roots. end of this arm carved animal head, forearms and tail.
