Descriptioncarved wooden box, from a block of wood, to hold eulachon grease at a feast. walls are flared and curved, concave inside. rim is flat, curving down towards centre of sides and up towards centre of decorated ends. identical incised decoration on ends portrays face like design, bilaterally symmetric in northern coast style. a horizontal line extends along each side below the rim, and a block of parallel vertical lines is incised on each side by the corners. rough scratches on bottom parallel to ends are joined by crossing lines and a parallel line intersects the crossing lines.
