Descriptiondish, hardwood, to hold eulachon grease for meals and feasts, carved of a single block, rectangular. walls lean away from centre, are concave inside. outsides are slightly convex. rim, about 1/2" wide, has dentalia inset. side rims concae; ends, convex. ends incised wiht identical bilaterally symmetric face - like designs. line incised parallel to and just below rim of each side, and block of 7 vertical notches at end of each side.
