Descriptionwooden dish, to hold eulachon grease for feasts. dish is carved from block of wood with flared walls. rim of sides is concave; of ends is convex. inside of walls are concave. rim is flat, inset with operculum. ends are incised with nearly identical face like design in traditional norther coast style. horizontal line runs below rim of each sie, with horizontal notches at each corner and a block of vertical lines.
