Descriptiondisch, carved of block of alder, with flared, curving sides. broad rim, with squared interior lip, is convex on ends and concave on sides. ends are cirtually identically carved and painted with design of bilaterally symmetric facce: black and red forms, incised and low relief lines. sides are incised with shortt, horizontal lines at each end, then a block of vertical parallel grooves, and a single line parallel to and just below rim. darkened inside from use for food.
