Descriptionbox with lid. small square box made of two pieces of wood; one, kerfed, for sides and one for bottom. ends of kerfed sides joined with roots and wooden pegs. bottom riveted to sides with wooden pegs. sides curved and carved in low relief except for one side which is carved in high relief representing an animal head with another animal head in its mouth. square lid, carved to fit top of box, held in place by cord passing through holes on opposite sides of lid and box and knotted. darkish. very greasey.
