Descriptiongrooved stone head lashed to wooden handle with cord. head pecked and ground from single piece of blacck stone into oval shape. base is flat; proximal end is rounded and distal end is flat. central groove (3.7cm wide) cut to run parallel to ends extends to base. on either side and parallel to groove is ridge (2.09cm wide) which extends approximately 2cm from base. twisted cedar bark cord (s twist) and cord (z twist) are lashed around base of platform and in groove of head. rectangular platform with rounded ends has notching on bottom for lashing. handle shaft circular in cross section curves down from centre of platform.
