Descriptionhalibut hook, v shape, of two piecces of wood, bevelled at one end and tied with strips of spruce root covering a small piece of skin (?). large groove for lashing. iron point held at end of one arm by strips of spruce root covering a small piece of skin. end of arm carved to be rectangular. shank carved as an octopus. part of cedar bark line passing through hole in centre of body of octopus.
