Descriptionseal and sea otter spear, of iron. point is asymmetric, of an iron file, with 7 barbs on one side and 4 on the other. central single etched line on one face, only, with lines from under edge of barbs extending up to and joining central line. other face is plain. lanyard of braided hide passes through rectangular hole at distal end, its end bound with gut. a rope of twisted gut is attached to loop at other end of lanyard.
