Descriptioncarved from a bowed mammalian ribe bone. proximal end is carved roughly straight across; distal end is rounded point. cross section is oval flattening on bottom surface near distal end. two holes are at distal end; one drilled widthwise (0.7cm diameter) and the other is drilled from bottom to top surface (0.3cm diameter). brown fibrous residue is in nutrient foramina on bottom surface near distal end.On View
