Descriptionrattle, carved in likeness of thunderbird, with out stretched neck. wings in horizontal plane with head and handle. tail horizontal but above wing level. face of owl carved into protruberant body of thunderbird. rattle is slit along handle, through owl's ears adn up to base of thunderbird's head. extended feet become handle, grooved near proximal end and encircled with sinew. four pairs of small holes on either side of body opening. sinew tied through 3 pairs. said to be used by chief's daughter
