Descriptionin one piece, used for making hats and baskets. disc is made from a single piece of wood carved into circular shape. one surface is flat; surface of opposite side rises from the edge towards circular hole in the centre. secured to stick with a circular headed metal nail through centre. stick is made from a single piece of wood. shaft is roughly cylindrical in cross section flattened on four sides. tapers towards a facetted point at one end. opposite end is cut straight and secured to centre of disc as above. '3083' in red paint on shaft. two circular holes on same side of shaft 53cm and 34.5cm from pointed end.
