Descriptionperforated stone head which has lashed to handle. head pecked and ground from single piece of black stone into oval shape. base is flat; proximal end is flat and distal end rounded. central hole (5.3cm wide) has in it remnants of twisted cedar withe lashing. rectangular platform of handle is grooved on bottom for lashing. handle sshaft circular in cross section curves down from centrre of platform.
