Descriptionlarge basket of spruce root. alternating rows of weave 1 and weave 3, 6cm wide just below rim. weave 1: plain twined weaving; weave 3: this weave is formed by the twining of two weft strands over and under a pair of warp splints. 5 bands of strawberry weave which is a variationi of the standard technique 6 plain twined weaving in that it uses two different colors, (natural and brown) of weft strands which appear on teh surface alternately, in a checkerboard arrangement. handle also of spruce root attached through opposite sides.On View
