Descriptiongrease dish, of hardwood, to hold eulachon oil to dip food into. dish is canoe shaped, with flaring sides and pointed ends. upper edge is concave on the sides. bottom is flat, and each end ahs a ridge up the outside, flattened at an angle at the top. bowl has incised line approx. 3/8" below rim, which follows the rim to each end. two parallel vertical notches decorate hte inside of one end of the bowl. wood darkened unevenly. bottom marked "73 Skid.'97'".
