Descriptionladle. made from a single piece of wood (alder from documentation). circular hole (4.9cm x 4.6cm in diameter) is carved in the centre of curved bowl. bowl tapers towards handle with exterior surface convex, and interior surface flattened. handle iss ellilptical in cross section and tapers towards proximal end which is cut at an oblique angle. evidence of adze marks on surface. handle is smoothed, remainder of bowl roughly carved.
