Descriptionlarge beaver carved one piece of wood crouched low, with mouth open showing teeth. body and tail painted dull red with black dashes. face are agreen, lips, front teeth and nostrils, red. small black hands nailed in place separately, tail a separate piece, also small ears. face and hands painted in red and black under chin. probably from below as well. large cut marks in belly area, possibly to cut it free from its support.
