Descriptiongrooved hafted type. head consists of a single piece of stone which has been pecked, ground and smoothed so that it forms a rounded surface at one end and a vertical flattened striking platform at the other. curved wooden handle made from a stree branch is oval in cross sectino and terminates in a flat platform. flattened underside of head rests on this platform and is secured to handle with root wrapped around central groove on the head and tied around both sides of platform.
