Descriptiona) hearth, made form a single piece of cedar carved into roughly parallelogram shape with extension at each end. grain runs longitudinally. circular depression centre of one edge for insertion of drill (b). surface balcked from use.
b) drill, made from a single peice of wood with surface highly polished. circular in cross section of equal diameter along length. both ends are rounded. "113" in black ink on shaft. surface blackened from use. bark adhering to one end.
