Descriptionu shaped, of piece of hemlock cut from knot, smoothed, steamed and bent while soft. one arm bevelled at end, and point of square iron nail lashed on with spruce root overlaid with root rope. arm notchced at end. root rope lashed to other arm by spruce root. rope end bound with gut or rawhide overlaid with root. other end of rope tied.
