Descriptionof wood, with one end split for the insertion of bristles, possibly porcupine hair which was commonly used. this end is tightly wrapped with root. the handle is carved in low relief, in the round, with a figurre. form of figure is adapted to the shape of the stick, legs curve downward and meet at centre front, arms curve upward and meet centrally. the head is large, with ears rising above eyebrows, typical eye form with large circular eyeball and wide mouth (no teeth). traces of red paint on lips and ears. tip near bristles has touches of blue and red paint. uncarved portion above head of figure.
